In a heartfelt statement on Facebook, Kei Kamara called upon Mohamed Kallon to speak out his mind and expressed his frustration rather than concealing all the struggles he has been quietly undergoing.
The veteran attacker who is known for controversial remarks towards Sierra Leone football urged Kallon to shed his excessive humility and deep patriotism, and open up to his people and speak out his peace.
“The country you love, and have given your ALL for, its people have punished/backstabbed you for decades but yet you keep being this humble soul and your family (me included) crying for all your suffering,” Kei wrote.
Kamara’s statement comes on the heels after Kallon broke his silence since the appointment of Amidu Karim as the new head coach of the Sierra Leone national team. In a surprising twist of events, Kallon, a beloved figure in Sierra Leonean football, and the utmost favorite to assume the coaching role saw a frustrating call after SLFA refused to accept his terms and conditions to run the team.
