Liberia beats Black Stars 2-0: Thank God We’re not a Ghanaians
It is possible that you didn’t hear that Lone Stars of Liberia beat Ghana’s Black Stars 2-0 earlier this week in Monrovia for the 2nd annual President’s Cup but you should definitely know. Ghanaians are still in shock from the defeat after heavily underestimating the Liberian side. Both goals were scored by Zah Rahan Krangar, a 27-year-old midfielder in the first 10 minutes of the game. Krangar who now plays in Singapore was once part of Asante Kotoko’s youth team in Ghana Premier League. Believe it or not this is the 17th time that Liberia has beat Ghana in a football match. Over the weekend the Lone Stars drew 2-2 with Nigeria for the AFCON qualifiers proving that when it comes to football size doesn’t matter.
Big up to our Lib peeps beating the Black Stars is no easy feat! Liberia Oh Yea!!!
