Stoudemire’s Each 1 Teach 1 foundation built wells to increase access to clean water back in 2008 |
My friend Bill is currently working with Stoudemire’s African Leadership Basketball Academy in Bamako Mali and they are about to do some major things. It is almost 2 years ago now that NBA number 1 draft pick Amare Stoudemire visited Sierra Leone to promote his Each1 Teach1 Foundation. While in Sierra Leone his foundation supported the building of wells in village communities to increase access to clean drinking water. One well serves over 400 people. Salute to Amare for his big heart…thanks to k1x for reminding us and some of the photos from the visit. You go boy!!!
