Vickie Remoe is a Marketing Communications Specialist, a business consultant, and an entrepreneur with 7 years of experience.
She has a B.A. Degree in Political Science from Haverford College in Pennsylvania. She also holds a M.S. Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
She moved to Ghana in 2012 from New York City where she is currently a consultant in charge of all branding and communications at Printex, Kalyppo, The Seed Funds Savings & Loans Company, and Frutelli. Her past clients include Sierra Leone Bottling Company, Addax Bionenergy SL Ltd., Airtel SL Ltd, and Access Point Africa.
She is a sought-after speaker on the media in Africa. She served as panelist at the 2011 Wharton African Business Conference, 2012 Harvard Africa Business Conference, and 2012 New York Forum Africa Dialogue for Women in Gabon.
In 2012, she won the Green White and Blue Commission Award for contributions to Sierra Leone Arts & Culture. That same year Content Link Online selected Remoe as one of 20 Must-Follow Women talking about the Diaspora, and Social Good.
Remoe is the publisher of GoWoman Magazine an online and print publication she founded in 2012.
In 2014, she was one of two creative entrepreneurs selected as the face of Deutsche Welle’s Africa Link ‘What’s Moving Africa‘ series.
