Sierra Leone Talent Search Auditions Set to Begin on March 25

The highly anticipated Sierra Leone Talent Search auditions, organized by Cribs International, will officially kick off on March 25, 2025. This first ever Sierra Leone Talent Search Music competition aims to discover and showcase the next big stars in Sierra Leone’s music industry.
Launched on January 20, 2025, the talent hunt has already attracted over 200 unsigned artists from across the country, all eager for a shot at stardom.
The competition is structured as a reality TV show, modeled after international shows like America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent, with multiple stages designed to test the skill, creativity, and stage presence of each participant.
According to Sho Cole, CEO of Cribs International, the auditions mark just the beginning of a life-changing journey for many talented youths.
“This competition will run differently. It will be like a reality TV show with different stages. The first stage is the audition where applicants will be filtered to move on to the next rounds. All applicants will be divided into groups during the audition,” he explained in a Facebook post.
He further encouraged participants to practice hard, stressing that only the best performances will make it through.
“If you fail to perform as expected, you will surely not make it to the next round,” he warned.
An expert panel of judges, voice coaches, and top music producers—led by Nigerian music producer Masterkraft—will oversee the audition process. Together, they will mentor, nurture, and discover Sierra Leone’s finest musical talents.
The competition comes with mouthwatering rewards. The winner will walk away with NLe 300,000, along with a record label and management deal—a dream package that could change their life and launch their music career.
Additionally, the top 10 finalists will receive professional song distribution deals to help them reach both local and international audiences.
The Sierra Leone Talent Search is a platform aimed at giving street talents a voice and an opportunity to shine.
As the countdown to March 25 continues, excitement is building nationwide, with many hopefuls ready to take center stage and claim their spot in Sierra Leone’s music history.
