Madam Wokie, a fashion brand based in Sierra Leone was invited to be apart of Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief Ebola Awareness runway show during NY Fashion Week. Madam Wokie was represented by lead designer Mary Ann Kaikai at the event. A black and white two piece Madam Wokie gown was part of the collection shown.
Campbell did the first Fashion for Relief as a fundraiser for victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
