Sierra Leone: Okrafor-Smart chosen as MD of Rokel Commercial Bank

Mr. John Dudley Okarfor Smart an accountant has been selected to steer Rokel Commercial Bank towards growth. RCB lost so much money last year that the Central Bank had to take it over.

Mr. Okrafo-Smart is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountant, U.K. Coupled with his professional qualification; Director Okrafor-Smart has vast knowledge in the area of financial management. He recently retired as Managing Director of Union Trust Bank Limited
Mr. Okrafor-Smart has worked on several occasions as Consultant with the World Bank and acted as Adviser to the Sierra Leone delegation in connection with the International Monetary Fund negotiations in Washington.
