Solo photo exhibit by Delphine Fawundu at MoCADA June 6th-16th
Sierra Leonean American photographer Delphine Buford Fawundu will exhibit her latest collection at the Museum of Contemporary African Diaspora Arts (MoCADA) starting June 6th. The exhibit will be open to the public for 10 days. “In a Time of Change” explores the condition of young black and latino males in the Obama era. The images show the intersections of education and the prison industrial complex in the lives of black and latino youth.
Fawundu is a seasoned photographer who has spent close to two decades documenting global hip hop and contemporary culture in Africa and the diaspora.
