Last year photographer Henry Jacobson and Adama Kai reunited again for the final photo shoot before the closure of Aschobi’s flagship store in Freetown. Adama Kai has since relocated to Paris where she is burning the midnight candle for the rebirth of her luxury fashion brand. Aschobi was Sierra Leone’s first locally based modern Africana fashion line when it first launched back in 2008.
