Sierra Leone: Vickie Remoe trains staff from Anti-Corruption, NASSIT and others on social media marketing

The first group of public relations officers, and marketers to attend social media training in in Sierra Leone represented corporate entities, government parastatals, and SME owners.

Staff from the Anti Corruption Commission, National Social Security Insurance Trust (NASSIT), Life-by-Design, Onlime Sierra Leone, Afromeric, and ODDSA were amongst the first batch of professionals to learn strategies for social media marketing developed by Vickie Remoe.

The course taught over six hours, and three chapters included an introduction to social media, developing a social media marketing strategy, and the final section highlighted tools and techniques for social media marketing.

In the post course evaluation and review, all those who participated reported that the course was timely, and that they would try to implement the strategies at their institutions.

When asked how they would score and or rank social media trainer, Vickie Remoe’s  knowledge of social media marketing, all participants said that she was highly knowledgeable.

Each participant received a certificate of participation at the end of the course which was held at the New Brookfields Hotel, in Freetown on April 6 2016.

Vickie Remoe will be teaching her next social media marketing course in Sierra Leone in June.
