Sierra Leone has been ranked among the countries with low human development globally, as indicated by the recently published United Nations Development Program (UNDP) 2023-24 Human Development Index.

In 2022, the country held the 184th position out of 193 nations, with a Human Development Index score of 0.458. This marks a decline from its 2021 score of 0.477 when it ranked 181st out of 195 countries.

The Human Development Index, as defined by UNDP, serves as a composite measure to gauge the average level of achievement across three fundamental dimensions of human development: longevity, education, and standard of living.

According to the World Food Program’s Market Prices Bulletin for Quarter 4, 2023, the purchasing power of the typical Sierra Leonean continues to erode due to rising prices of essential goods and stagnant daily wages.

I make over $28k a month working part-time. I kept hearing from other people telling me how much money they could make online, so I decided to find out. Well, it was all true and it completely changed my life.
