Sierra Leone: Former President’s brother agrees to pay back money owed to Anti Corruption Commission

425F4FD4-67DE-4E8F-B42E-007BC09EB89EThomas Koroma is a business man, and an architect. He is also the brother of Sierra Leone’s former president, Ernest Bai Koroma.

After months of investigation the Anti Corruption Commission found that Mr. Thomas Koroma owed some $127,000 in unpaid taxes to the government.

Mr. Thomas has agreed to pay back in installments on a before June 2019. He was a contractor on multiple government projects during his brother’s tenure at State House.

He is the first member of the former President Koroma’s family to have been found corruption by the ACC.
