Sierra Leone: President Maada Bio, First Lady join National Cleaning Day effort

Before now in Sierra Leone politicians only came out to be with the people when they needed votes. Today I was thrilled to see our newly elected President join the National Cleaning Day. The President’s Executive Order #2 was the re-installation of the monthly cleaning Saturday exercise that started under the NPRC regime.

On the first Saturday of every month Sierra Leoneans have to stay home and clean their community. This to help with cleaning the gutters and drainage system especially.
