This week in West Africa zero ebola cases reported
Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea, the countries most badly affected by the worst ebola outbreak in history have had zero infections recorded in the past 7 days. This is the first time this has happened since in the last 12 months.
Sierra Leone’s most recent last known patient was released on September 28, and Guinea has had no new cases since September 27.
Meanwhile Liberia has been twice declared ebola free by WHO, after completing 42 days of no new cases.
