Bah’s Journey to city began at Real Valladolid, where he played 13 games and impressed Pep Guardiola.

Regardless of his short stay in Spain, Bah caught the attention of Pep, who moved to secure his signature.

The deal marks the fourth signing for City during this January transfer window, following the acquisitions of Khusanov, Reis, and Marmoush.

Controversy Surrounding Valladolid Contract Termination

In a move that has raised eyebrows, Bah paid €6 million to terminate his contract with Valladolid.  The amount was far less than the club’s initial expectations.

This sparked controversy as Valladolid threatened legal action, claiming Manchester City influenced Bah’s decision. However, as of January 22, no further updates have been made from the Spanish club.

Despite the controversy, Bah’s talent on the pitch is undeniable. He was one of Valladolid’s standout performers, and his potential has been recognized by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

His RC Lens loan offers playing time in a top league before his anticipated move to Manchester City.

Manchester City sees Bah’s development in France as key before his Premier League return next season.
