Cardi B Reveals her Newborn
American hip-hop star Cardi B, 31, has shared the news about the birth of her daughter over the weekend. Posting a series of photos on Instagram, she showed her family cradling the newborn in the hospital.
In one of the pictures, Cardi B can be seen breastfeeding the baby girl which she captioned, “The prettiest lil thing 9/7/24”.
After the birth, the rapper facetimed her children Kulture and Wave, allowing them to meet their new sister. Shortly after, the children were seen in the hospital with the father Offset, visiting the baby and her mother.
Despite the couple’s ongoing challenges, they have come together for the sake of their newborn, who’s name hasn’t been made public yet.
The moment the children came together added to the family’s excitement as the couple just celebrated their son, Wave’s, third birthday some days earlier.

The Divorce and Custody Battle
Cardi B and Offset already share two children; six year old daughter, Kulture, and three year old son, Wave. However, the birth comes amid personal challenges for the couple.
Cardi B has filed for divorce from Offset and is reportedly seeking primary custody of their children, along with child support. Offset, known for his solo career and as a member of the Migos rap group, has yet to utter an opinion on the proceedings.
Cardi B and Offset’s relationship has been rocky from the start, marked by multiple breakups, cheating allegations against Offset, and various scandals. The couple, who married on September 20th, 2017 faced a major turning point when Cardi B filed for divorce three years later, on September 15th, 2020.
The couple reconciled after some time, but it appears that problems still linger in the marriage. Cardi B’s decision to file for divorce in August 2024 appears to be driven by growing distance in the relationship. Also her choice to prioritize herself and her children over a marriage that has had an ongoing turbulence is also part of her reasons to file for a divorce.
