Mohamed Buya came to the rescue as Odense edged past Hobro IK

Mohamed Buya Turay scored the only goal in Odense Boldklub away win against Hobro IK in the danish cup round of 16 at the DS Arena on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

Turay received the ball on the edge of the box and elivated it the crossbar to hit the back of the net in the 23rd minutes after a combination play between Rami Al Hajj and Don Deedson. His goal marked his second after nine matches since joining the OB in March this year. 

Oddset Pokalen are not in their best of times at the moment, before this match, they were without a win in their last two games. However, the team will advance to their next match against Lyngby at home on October 2, with hopes to continue their winning form.
