WASHINGTON, DC July 27, 2015- The Sierra Leonean Empowerment Network (SLEN)

On Saturday August 15th 2015, mark your Outlook Calendars for the highly informative and must attend professional networking event of the year, the 2nd Annual 2015 SLEN Conference: The Next Level. On the heels of last year’s successful SLEN Conference, attended by Sierra Leonean professionals nationwide, we bring to you the second installment. This year’s 2015 SLEN Conference: The Next Level will be focused on guiding you in the direction of self empowerment and taking bold new steps to reach your highest potential.

Last year we were all given a task to find our moon shot by Keynote Speaker and MIT Fellow David Sengeh, in taking it to the NEXT LEVEL. This year, we are pleased and honored to have entrepreneur and SBA National award winner Ms. Sarian Bouma as our Keynote Speaker. Ms. Bouma will be sharing with us her inspiring story and giving us advice on how to reach our highest potential. Commencing with breakfast at 8:30am, join us along with 150+ Sierra Leoneans as we host this vital event at The Catholic University Of America | Caldwell (620 Michigan Ave, NE, Washington, District of Columbia 20064). Guest speakers and panelists include Bidemi Carrol, Educationist and Consultant, Cecil Williams, social entrepreneur and Co-founder of Royal Dynamite clothing line, Ajara Bomah, entrepreneur and CEO of Rhoyalty Concepts, and many more. The conference will conclude with a business expo attended by Sierra Leoneans and other nationalities alike.

As always, SLEN serves as a portal assisting you in your professional development by providing both human and material resources to aid you and fellow Sierra Leoneans in your professional careers. “We hope attendees will be inspired to tackle the next step in their careers and aim for their highest potentials with the 2015 SLEN Conference: The NEXT LEVEL” says Janice Williams, co-founder of SLEN. With the help of our sponsors: The Tenderness Group LLC, Amadu Massally, Energy Watchdog Pro, Susan Paul: Career and Leadership Coaching, and the Law Office of Yolanda Thompson, we hope to put on an amazing conference and we look forward to seeing you all.
