Look out for Sierra Leone’s Sydney Davies’ debut at London Fashion Week

Euphemia-ann’s fashion label Sydney Davies will appear as part of the lineup for London Fashion Week. Born in Sierra Leone Ms Davies migrated to the UK 9 years ago. The 26-year-old fashion designer launched her  fashion label launched after graduating from Herriot Watt University in 2012. Her designs are a mix of ready to wear and couture made for men and women.

“During my Studies, I have grown immensely as a person and Designer and in my last year particularly, as I consider myself fortunate to have completed a 3 month full-time internship with MCQ Alexander McQueen as assistant pattern cutter where I could hone my skills in the fine art of Draping, Pattern Cutting, Tailoring and the well-made garment. Creativity, impeccable Precision and Discipline, as well as Industry experience.”
