Sierra Leone’s Sorie Kondi, Chief Boima on US Tour this October (finally)

Back in March there was a kickstarter campaign to get Sierra Leonean thumb piano player Sorie Kondi to South by Southwest. Sadly even though people were kind enough to donate Sorie Kondi could not get to US in time for the festival. But he is here now. Coming to stages across the North-East and beyond my friend Mr. Kondi will be bringing you hits from “No Money no Family” and his new album “Thogolobea” this October. Kicking off in no other place but in the Salone diaspora motherland Washington D.C Sorie Kondi will perform at Tropicalia on 14th Street in NW. He will be touring with my other really good friend producer/promoter/mix-master DJ Boima who really needs no introduction. More than a cultural music experience these shows will  bring together the very best of Sierra Leone traditional and contemporary music. E don tay way Sorie Kondi don stick wit im business na Salone en wi all for gladi en try fo support this artist of way e keep wi cultural music alive. You heard it here first!
