Liberia’s national amputee football has won the annual Cup of Nations Amputee Football held in Ghana, West Africa. Liberia beat hosts Ghana 3-2 to win the cup. Angola beat Sierra Leone for third place. The tournament was started to fight discrimination against individuals with disabilities. Most of the athletes on the teams lost their limbs to war related atrocities. Congratulations to Lone Star.
