Vickie Remoe will launch a new season of her podcast to continue the digital #MakeSierraLeoneFamous campaign on April 25.  The Make Sierra Leone Famous podcast, which focuses on Sierra Leone’s culture and people, will now be available as a weekly video podcast on YouTube. Listeners can also tune in to new Apple, Spotify, and Audiomack episodes.

The podcast launched in June 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic halted Remoe’s TV show production. In this third season, Remoe will host two to three guests in each episode, discussing a range of topics such as mental health, addiction, and women’s sexual pleasure. Notable guests for season three include former Miss Sierra Leone Queens Swadu Natasha Beckley and Sarah Laura Solomon, Mahawa Sandy (Founder of the Nyali Foundation), Leeann Mahota Rizk (Country Director of Mama-Pikin Foundation), and Kathleen Davies (Co-Founder and Creative Director of Arch Design).

The new season starts on Thursday, April 25, 2024, with a conversation about drugs and addiction. Each episode of the podcast runs for 60-90 minutes. The podcast is produced at Sir Milton Lab and Podcast Studio at VRC Marketing headquarters in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Remoe is the host and executive producer, and a skilled production crew handles editing, videography, sound engineering, and camera operations.

To watch the Make Sierra Leone Famous Podcast, viewers can subscribe to the podcast on Apple and Spotify for new audio episodes. They can head to Vickie Remoe’s YouTube channel for video episodes and subscribe to receive notifications when new episodes are uploaded.
