Incredible JJ speaks about his upcoming projects

Sierra Leone’s most promising young talented singer and songwriter, Incredible JJ has revealed a detailed insight of his upcoming projects for the first time since earning a media spotlight. 

In an exclusive interview with SwitSalone, JJ gave a sneak peek into his exciting upcoming projects. The singer revealed that he has been diligently working on his first two singles, with either of them to be released in early November. The said singles will be the full version of his most trending freestyles that broke the internet a few weeks ago, titled “Freetown I’m coming” and “Love Code,” both songs promise to be absolute hits. 

Although he kept his collaboration partner under wraps, JJ confirmed that he featured someone in “Freetown I’m Coming” while confirming that both songs have been produced and mastered by Nashito Kulala and Wilbert music respectively.

When asked about the inspiration behind “Freetown I’m coming,” JJ revealed that it was like a divine revelation. Despite his attempts to write a love song, the ideas for this particular track kept flooding his mind. It was as if God himself had a hand in crafting this anthem for Freetown. JJ also confirmed that he is currently working on an EP, with several songs already done and dusted. 

However, JJ’s journey to success hasn’t been without its fair share of challenges. He opened up about the trials he faced as a young artist in this part of the world. Poor media management and the disapproval of his bookworm father, who never saw music as a viable career, were just a couple of the obstacles he had to overcome.
