In the last top-tier campaign, East End Lions finished in third place. However, with their new coaching addition and determination, they are eager to improve upon this performance in the upcoming 2023/24 Sierra Leone Premier League season. The league is scheduled to kick off on November 3rd, as confirmed by the league board.

The 2023/24 season is expected to be highly competitive, with East End Lions setting their sights on challenging for the league title. Coach Wright’s familiarity with the country’s top-flight football, gained through his successful tenure at FC Kallon, adds an extra layer of confidence to the club’s ambitions.
