Young student wins over one billion old leones from a single Mercury International ticket
On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, a student won the sum of NLE 1,164,000 (one billion, one hundred and sixty four million old leones) from Mercury International. The young ambitious student by name of Abdulai from Lungi, staked with over NLE 15 for 32 teams in a single ticket.
Abdulai, filled with great joy, started betting with Mercury International about a month ago, he said this win is a life changing opportunity for him. His take home prize after tax is NLE 1,100,000.
“I was inspired by my brother who used to bet on Mercury International daily and had his little wins. As things stand I have very good plans for this cash and it is with joy that I remind the public that Mercury International is the best betting company in Sierra Leone,” said Abdulai.
Over the course of time, Mercury International has disbursed billions of leones to numerous customers who emerged victorious. The company launched its lottery and sports betting products in 2007. Its products include the 5/90 lottery, sports betting, online betting, Zone, Rapids, and Virtual Rapid games.
