Sierra Leone’s men’s national football team, have slipped in the latest FIFA rankings, falling from 120th to 124th. This drop comes as a result of their failure to secure qualification for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

Within Africa, they currently hold the 33rd position, trailing behind teams such as Malawi, Tanzania, Togo, and several others. Over their past six matches, the Leone Stars have encountered three losses, two draws, and a single victory.

In the global rankings, Argentina maintains its top position, while Morocco leads the African rankings.
