From a brand new vehicle to a house, Mercury International’s End-of-Year Sports and Vegas Raffle features a prize line-up designed around some of the things many Sierra Leoneans value most: a house, transportation, and useful household items.

The end-of-year promotion is divided into two categories: the Vegas Raffle and the Sports Raffle with three prizes attached to each of them.

Here is a closer look at what is on offer.

A Brand-New 2026 Jetour T1

Mercury International

For the Vegas Raffle, one of the headline prizes is a brand-new 2026 Jetour T1 Jeep. As a new vehicle, the Jetour T1 represents one of the most substantial prizes in the line-up,combining everyday transportation with the appeal of owning a new model.

For Mercury International, the vehicle is part of an effort to offer prizes that customers would find meaningful and valuable.

A TVS Jupiter Automatic Scooter

The Vegas Raffle also includes a TVS Jupiter Scooter. Beyond personal transportation, a scooter can also serve a practical purpose for someone looking for a convenient way to move around the city or potentially use it as part of a livelihood.

An ALWA 85-Inch Smart Television

The third Vegas prize is an 85-inch smart television, bringing a major home-entertainment item into the prize line-up. With its large screen and smart TV functionality, it is a prize suited to the home and shared entertainment.

Together, the three Vegas prizes; the Jetour T1, automatic scooter, and 85-inch smart television, offer very different possibilities for winners.

A Two-Bedroom House at TAF Micro City Salone

The Sports Raffle features perhaps the most significant long-term asset in the line-up: a two-bedroom house at TAF Micro City Salone.

For many people, owning a home represents an important personal and financial milestone. Morris Jr explained that Mercury wanted its prizes to reflect things that people genuinely value.

“As a Sierra Leonean, you are working, or you are not even working. You need what? A house.”

The house also follows the previous MercuryBet’s “Win A House” promotion in which 39-year-old Abu Fomba, a small-scale miner from Kenema, won a brand-new two-bedroom bungalow valued at US$81,000.

A TVS Tricycle (keke)

Mercury InternationalThe second Sports Raffle prize is a TVS tricycle (keke). Beyond transportation, the prize can have commercial value. As Morris Jr pointed out, previous winners have used similar prizes for commercial purposes.

“We’ve seen over the years a lot of winners who utilise the bike for commercial purposes. The tricycle as well. If you win, you can use it for commercial purposes,” says Morris Jr.

A Lifan Motorbike

Completing the Sports Raffle line-up is a Lifan motorbike.

Like the keke, the motorbike is both a transport option and a potential commercial asset, depending on how its recipient chooses to use it.

Six Prizes, Different Possibilities

With three prizes in each category, Mercury’s End-of-Year Raffle brings together a mix of vehicles, property, and household entertainment.

According to Mercury International, the decision to offer different types of prizes was intentional.

“These are prizes that people want and can improve their daily lives. That is why, as a company, we decided to place these prizes,” Morris Jr explained.

The three prizes within each raffle are expected to go to three different winners. However, because customers can hold multiple tickets, it is possible for one person to win more than one prize.
