Last night i just missed Jocelia Gbondo’s performance on Project fame on SLBC TV but she had my entire household talking and saying nothing but the best things, even mummy k my granny has fallen for Joecelia. Project Fame West Africa is a reality tv talent show currently taking place in Nigeria. The show “features 15 contestants drawn from countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The contestants live in a special environment called The Academy where they compete for the opportunity to emerge as a West African and world wide music icon” The show is sponsored by MTN and I am guessing the winner gets to record their debut album.

The show is taped in front of a live audience with a panel of judges and viewers from the 4 competing countries can text in to keep their favorite contestant in the Academy.

Joecelia was born in the 80’s and is from Sierra Leone. She teaches French and English and says music is embedded in her!
