I’ve been to two of the concerts; NYC @ SOBS and the show @ World Café in Philly. I also saw their documentary so when I say this band is off da hook, I know what I’m talking about. The music is inspiring and upbeat. You can’t stand in still while they’re playing; the music is infectious, from the African reggae roots to the more traditional African pieces. It’s all incredible!!! Also, the personal story of the different band members reminds us of the resiliency of the human spirit. “When two elephants are fighting, the grass dema suffer”, “Living Like a Refugee is not easy”, “Rolling like a rolling stone”, “smile”, “Soda Soap”.
