One of three judges probing the administration of former President Ernest Bai Koroma Justice Biobele Georgewill, was attacked last night at his Goderich residence, in Freetown.
Justice Biobele Georgewill is from the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He was the Commissioner that had invited the former President Ernest Bai Koroma to participate in the Commission of Inquiry on Thursday 13th June 2019.

The person(s) who attacked the residence of the Nigerian Justice Biobele Georgewill heading one of the commissions of inquiry investigating the former government of Sierra Leone, took away his laptop that contains his present enquiry work and his eight years of work in Nigeria.

The Commissioner according to sources that had visited him this morning seems to be visibly shaken by this attack.

The motive of the attacker(s) is not immediately clear but Justice Biobele had openly spoken about receiving anonymous threatening telephone calls.

Questions are now being asked as to why the state did not provide him with a laptop when he arrived, and about the state of security at his residence.

According to Mohamed Rahman Swarray Information Minister, details about the attack are sketchy and the public would be informed about findings from the report that would be given from the fact finding – mission that has set up and the mission was on it way to their way to the attack residence.
