Journalist Tam Bayoh bailed after 11 days in detention in Sierra Leone
David Tam Bayoh a radio journalist arrested on November 3 2014 and held at Pa Demba Road Prison in Freetown is free.
He was released on SLL 50 Million bail on Friday November 14. The conditions of his bail are that he is to report to the police every week.
Tam Bayoh was arrested on orders signed by the President of Sierra Leone which means that he was not charged prior to his detention because of powers granted to the president under the current State of Emergency in effect because of the ebola outbreak.
