There are those who attempt to dabble in fabulousity every now and again and then there is Sai Sankoh who lives it 24/7. The blooming style icon made the yearly pilgrimage to New York Fashion Week where with her man friend Coco she thrilled fashion photogs with her colorful africana prints and 6-inch pumps. Sankoh made the front pages of online fashion mags from the US to South Africa and this just after she was featured in the Washingtonian Magazine as a 2012 Stylesetter. In a recent post on her blog the always reflective Miss Sankoh said this:
On the train ride back from New York Fashion Week on Tuesday, it finally dawned on me I was living MY American dream as a Sierra Leonean woman in the DMV. My two passions include helping others (nursing) and of course fashion…there is no greater feeling than being acknowledged for doing something you really love!
We cant tell you where she’ll pop up next or what she’ll be doing but one thing is for certain, no one does fabulous like Sai Sankoh!
