Liberia’s Ellen J Sirleaf and Leymah Gbowee win Nobel Peace Prize

Three women will share this year’s Nobel Peace Prize for thier committment to peaceful protest and women’s rights. And the winners are President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Women’s activist Leymah Gbowee from Liberia and Tawakkul Karman from Yemen. Women from different West African countries sent congratulatory messages to their comrades. Lets here it for the ladies, as my Senegalese friend Yaye Marie would say: WE AFRICAN WOMEN ARE DOING IT AND WE ARE DOING IT WELL!!
