I know many of you NFL fans are spending your Sundays and for some even Mondays glued to your TV screens. I mean my brother watches all the games on Sunday and then still tunes in on Mondays to watch all the highlights. Until very recently American football was a language I just didnt bother to learn but now I must say I am a big NY Jets fan and i know the difference between a fumble and an interception. Back in 2010 the root compiled a list of some African players that were at the time playing in the NFL. Two of Sierra Leone’s own were on the list. So as you follow the rest of the season keep an eye out for these two very special Sierra Leonean ballers, Madieu Williams of the San Francisco 49ers, and your boy Gibril Wilson of the Cincinatti Bengals (Gibril is suffering from a pre-season injury so we wish him speedy recovery).
