Sierra Leone’s Ellen Thomas in Issue 7 of New African Woman

Although she plays a Nigerian Grace Olubumi on EastEnders, Ellen Thomas was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone and emigrated to the UK at the age of 9. She’s been nominated several times for best actress for the EMMA and Black Media Awards. Ms. Thomas has over 25 years in the film and TV industry and she was recently featured in New African Woman Issue 7. We salute this screen diva, from Freetown to the Big Screen, Repping Sierra Leone to the fullest.
