Bakitenno’s KOTCS Album Records 5.47 Million Audiomack Plays

Sierra Leonean musician Bakitenno is attracting attention following the release of his 18-track album, King of the Country Sound (KOTCS), which has recorded a reported 5.47 million plays on Audiomack, according to a publicly available album-page snapshot retrieved during research.

Released on October 16, 2026, under New Wavy Entertainment, the project features established and emerging artists, including King Boss LA, Kao Denero, Shadow Boxxer, Baby Bernard, Samza, BadBoy Ivy, Isat and M.I.C.

Beyond Audiomack, several KOTCS tracks have appeared on Apple Music’s Sierra Leone Top 100 chart, according to MusicMetrics chart data.

“KOTCS (Intro)” was reported at No. 47, while “We Dey Ya Fos” reached No. 71. Other tracks included “Husai Yu Komot?” at No. 79, “Wantem” at No. 80, “Foday Sankoh” at No. 83, “Alhamdulillah” at No. 84, “Scatter” at No. 85 and “Wuteteh” at No. 90. Bakitenno’s song “Update” was separately reported at No. 76.

These positions suggest that several songs from the album have gained chart visibility in Sierra Leone. However, chart rankings are not equivalent to stream counts and may change over time.

Consequently, the 5.47 million figure represents reported Audiomack plays, not the album’s combined global streams.

The album’s commercial earnings also remain unconfirmed, as streaming revenue depends on listener locations, platform payment arrangements, rights ownership and contractual deductions.
