About The Ivyson Tour
The Ivyson Tour is a personal concert series founded by South African rapper Nasty C in 2017, named after his late mother, Ivy. What began in her hometown of Cape Town as a small, intimate show has grown into one of Africa’s most celebrated music movements. Over the years, it has evolved into a concert that blends live performances with gaming tournaments, meet-and-greets, and interactive fan experiences that allow audiences to connect more personally with Nasty C and his music.
Now in its seventh edition, the 2025 Ivyson Tour is Nasty C’s biggest and most ambitious yet, spanning 11 countries and 17 stops across Africa. For the first time, fans were invited to co-create the tour by voting for their cities and suggesting local and guest performers through the TOORLY platform. This fan-driven model sparked excitement across more than 40 cities, with unexpected contenders like Freetown emerging among the most requested destinations.
Cities like Harare, Abuja, Bloemfontein, Durban, Gaborone, Lusaka, Mbabane, Potchefstroom, Pretoria, the Vaal, and Windhoek have officially qualified as potential tour stops. The massive engagement has made the 2025 Ivyson Tour not only the largest but also the most interactive and inclusive in the tour’s history.
