Housemates Salone Returns with Bold New Theme and Bigger Prizes

Season 4 of the highly anticipated Housemates Salone reality TV show was officially launched on July 18th, 2025, in a vibrant ceremony that showcased Sierra Leone’s rich creativity, spirit of collaboration, and cultural pride.
The event saw the unveiling of this season’s new, bold, theme “Clean Game,” along with the official logo, record-breaking grand prize of NLe 1,000,000 (1 Billion old Leones), and a trip to Dubai as the grand prize.
CEOs of Africell Sierra Leone Shadi Gerjawi and African Young Voices Media Empire (AYV) Anthony Navo promised the new season to be different and more exciting than ever before.
The First Lady of Sierra Leone, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, graced the occasion as Guest of Honor. In her address, she spoke passionately about the show’s growing influence and its potential to empower and inspire young people.

Speaking at the launch, the CEO of Africell Sierra Leone Shadi Gerjawi and AYV TV Anthony Navo, the two producers of the show, delivered a joint statement that energized the crowd and hinted that this season would be unlike any other.
“Season 4 is not business as usual,” they declared.
Housemates Salone Season 4 stands out better than the previous seasons. In Season 3, the winner, Julie Tombo received Le250,000,000 (Old Leones) This time around, Season 4’s winner will be offered much more. The lucky winner will take home NLe1,000,000 (One Billion Old Leones) and enjoy a fully paid trip to Dubai. This shows that the show keeps growing and giving more exciting opportunities to the participants.

Other speakers included the CEO of Afrimoney Martison Obeng Ageyi, a representative from the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, and a Chapter One representative, each expressing strong support for the show and its impact on youth, tourism, and national entertainment.
The event also attracted a host of high-profile guests, including the Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh, the Mayor of Freetown Yvonne Aki Sawyerr, and the Minister of Information and Civic Education Chernor Bah, among others. Members of the media and the Africell community were also present as the countdown to Sierra Leone’s biggest reality show officially began.

Housemates Salone is a reality show where 20 young men and women live together in one house, completely cut off from the outside world. The show is broadcast live, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s about fun, games, competition, and big rewards.
