Two 25-year-old Lagosians Ibrahim Adekunle and Shola Omoniyi are makers of the Tricycle Jeep and the Tricycle Limo, ‘okada’ inspired rickshaw commonly known as a Tuktuk. The wheels are now on display at the annual MakerFaireAfrica Expo in Lagos, Nigeria. The Tricycle Limo can take up to 12 people and costs about $9500 to make. The duo rent the limo out from $600-$1200 a day for weddings, etc. A cooler alternative to the okada and more money for the owners. Photo via MakerFaireAfrica.
