Sierra Leone Elections 2012: APC accuses ex-President Kabbah’s in law of leading violence in Kono
The All People’s Congress (APC) has released a statement accusing former President Kabbah’s brother-in-law of leading a violent attack that left 10 wounded in Kono according to AP reports. The release below says that a Numu Jabbie, brother of Isatu Jabbie Kabbah commonly known as Iye-Jay led a group of SLPP supporters who beat and burnt down the home of the APC Chair-Lady in Korquima. Mrs Kabbah is head of the SLPP Women and wife of former SLPP President Ahmed Tejan Kabbah. But the SLPP says that it was supporters of the ruling APC party that threw stones injuring some seven people.
