Sierra Leone announces squad for 2024 Nigeria Women’s T20I Tournament

The Sierra Leone Cricket Association’s Technical Team has named 14 female players to compete in the 2024 Nigeria Invitational Women’s T20I Tournament. The selection of players for the Ladies Patriots was done following two trial matches over the weekend. 

The squad features Fatmata Parkinson (Captain), Aminata Kamara, Zainab Kamara, Ann Marie Kamara, Linda Bull, Celina Bull, Marie Turay, Theresa B Tommy, Ramatu Turay, Hassanatu Sawaneh, Fatu Pessima, Alice Fillie, Janet Kowa, and Jane Newland. Patricia Pratt serves as the reserve player. 

Departure for Nigeria is set for Friday, February 23, 2024. The Women’s T20i, a four-nation cricket tournament, is scheduled to occur in Nigeria from February 25 to March 3, 2024, with Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania as participating teams.
