Drizilik Thrills Fans In Columbus with Kriofusion Sound

Columbus, Ohio came alive on Saturday, August 23, 2025 as Drizilik delivered a thrilling performance at Zarlux Lounge alongside Sierra Leonean saxophonist Reginald Thompson.

The show drew over 300 fans from the Sierra Leonean-American community in Columbus eager to experience the energy and musical creativity that has made Drizilik one of Sierra Leone’s most celebrated artists. With more than six guest performances adding to the lineup, the night carried the atmosphere of a cultural celebration, bringing Sierra Leonean music and talent to the heart of the diaspora community in Ohio.

Organized by Samuel Braima, owner and President of Zarlux Entertainment LLC, the show highlighted Drizilik’s growing presence in the U.S.

“I met Drizilik in Freetown years ago and I was immediately struck by his talent,” said Mr. Brima.

“When I learned that Drizilik was here in the US, I jumped at the opportunity to bring him and Saxophonist Reginald Thompson out to Columbus and it was a success. The fans could not get enough of our Kriofusion star. We’re already making plans to bring him back in 2026.”

The performance in Columbus followed an appearance at Amazon’s Summer Concert Series in Virginia earlier in the month. Proof of Drizilik’s appeal to diverse audiences while staying true to his Sierra Leonean roots.

Performing alongside I-Tribe, Drizilik’s kriofusion hits offered fans both nostalgic and new dance rhythms, further showcasing his international appeal and bringing the sound of Freetown to global audiences.
