The Krio Fusion Playlist just got bigger and better with eight brand-new tracks. Curated by Vickie Remoe, the playlist keeps showing off the best of Sierra Leone’s music mixing street vibes, culture, romance, and powerful messages.

Here’s what Vickie has to say about her selection process:

“Each month I review all the songs submitted and those I find on my own. I listen as a music fan and as a Sierra Leone culture champion. The songs that make it on the playlist must meet my criteria which includes production and sound value, lyricism, storytelling, culturally forward, dope beat or infection rhythm and last but not least a song on this list must be identifiably Sierra Leonean (instruments or lyrics). I am curating this playlist to highlight what I feel is the best music out each month.”

As usual the Krio fusion playlist has a no skip guarantee so listen now! Stream now on Audiomack and Spotify. Save the shortlink so you can always find it – https://li.sten.to/kriofusion.

Please note that due to artist song distribution limitations some songs on the Audiomack version of the playlist may be missing from Spotify. Sierra Leonean artists are still struggling to access the right DSPs.

8 New Songs on the Krio Fusion Playlist

Control”– Apreel

Apreel brings love and culture together in Control. Inspired by the traditional Mende dovototi dance, the track blends Sierra Leone’s rich rhythms with Afrobeat. It’s sweet, it’s modern, and it celebrates real connection making it both a Salone anthem and a song with global appeal.

No Pressure” – Famous (Produced by Tunex Beatz)

This one is all about calm confidence. No Pressure reminds us that what’s meant for you will always come. No chasing, no rushing, just trust your timing. It’s a track that encourages patience, self-belief, and enjoying life at your own pace.

How Are You” – Pretty S ft. Rozzy Sokota & Willie J (Produced by Nega Don)

This love song carries a playful but sharp message: it ridicules women who go after other people’s boyfriends or husbands. With Rozzy Sokota and Willie J adding their spice, it’s both catchy and cheeky, guaranteed to get people talking.

Dance” – D4nny

A seasoned artist and producer, D4nny does what he does best creating magic. Dance is a feel-good track with striking lyrics and bouncy production, built to keep you moving from start to finish.

Aberdeen Roundabout” – Korvayah ft. Ray Boy Blu (Produced by Tech)

A true street anthem. Aberdeen Roundabout celebrates street credibility, hustle, and swagger. Korvayah and Ray Boy Blu bring raw energy to the beat, creating a track that feels straight out of the corners and junctions of Freetown.

Free Lawyer” – Mello Seven (Produced by Thy Young)

In a world where everyone online wants to act like judge and jury, Free Lawyer hits different. Mello Seven sheds light on the way society and especially social media can be quick to criticize without facts. The message is sharp, but the delivery makes it a tune you’ll play over and over.

“Chika”– Isat ft. I-Tribe (Produced by Thy Young)

Love is at the center of this smooth collaboration. Chika is warm, heartfelt, and blends Isat’s sweet vocals with Itribe’s charisma. A perfect balance of Afrobeat energy and romantic storytelling.

Abandawa” – Rozzy ft. Arkman

Abandawa is a soulful blend of Highlife and Afropop, wrapped in rhythm, energy, and emotion that instantly gets you moving. Rozay and Arkman, two powerhouse talents, finally link up on this long-anticipated collaboration and the timing couldn’t be better.

Produced by the seasoned hitmaker Tunex Beatz, the track celebrates love, balance, and connection. Love should be reciprocal, what you give is what you get. With its infectious vibe and heartfelt delivery, Abandawa is poised to resonate deeply with fans and light up playlist.

Salone Sound, Growing Stronger

From cultural rhythms to street anthems, from love songs to social commentary, these 8 new additions show just how diverse Sierra Leone’s music is right now. The Krio Fusion Playlist is not just music, it’s the sound of Sierra Leone today.
