Seun Kuti Celebrates Wedding Anniversary and Wife on the Same Day

Seun Kuti, the son of the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, commemorated his wife, Yetunde Kuti’s, birthday and their fourth wedding anniversary in Nigeria on October 14th 2024.

The couple got married on October 14th 2020 and they have a daughter Ifafunmike Adara Anikulapo-Kuti. Prior to this date they have been living together in love and harmony  for more than ten(10) years.

“I met my wife through my cousin when she came to work for me.  We got married two years ago but we’ve  been together since I was 24 or 25 years old. We must have courted for 12 or 13 years and we already had a child before we got married,” Seun Kuti said. 

“To an exceptional woman as you embark on a new chapter in your life, you remain steadfast like the pillar you are to our love and revolution. You are imbued with the spirit of resilience, and may your ancestors protect you wherever you go! Happy birthday and anniversary, @chefyeidekuti. I cherish you.”

Fans expressed their congratulations in the comment section, celebrating the couple and extending birthday wishes to Yetunde.
