Four Sierra Leonean Women Shine in Top 50 African Women in Sports Nominations

Four Sierra Leonean women have been nominated for this year’s Top 50 African Women in Sport by the Africa Sports Venture Group.

Among the nominees are Madam Agusta James Teima, Sierra Leone’s Minister of Sport; Isha Johansen, former president of the Sierra Leone Football Association; Eunice Claudia Barber, an athlete; and Madam Nassu Fofanah.

The annual award recognises women’s contributions to the sporting sector across the content.
