Telem Uncommon Sounds releases debut album “Telem Strong” – A Celebration of Sierra Leonean Creativity
Telem Uncommon Sounds have released their debut album titled, “Telem Strong.” The 10-track body of work, embodies the essence of Sierra Leonean creativity, brimming with fresh and innovative sounds crafted entirely by local talents.
The album showcases a lineup including Ahmed Kamara, Jamila Falak, Block Jones, Motolani, King Calie, Barbeque, Tracy, Situa, Swit Nelly, Rica G, and many more talented artists.
Telem Uncommon Sounds aims to revolutionize music in Sierra Leone by providing ample opportunities for local musicians to create, perform, and share experimental yet culturally grounded music. Founded by three singer-songwriters and supported by a network of musicians and artists, Telem offers training in songwriting and music production, organizes concerts and live events, and fosters the growth of Sierra Leone’s music scene.
By promoting Sierra Leonean music on a global scale, Telem strives to position local musicians at the forefront of international demand for African culture.
Telem Strong is available for streaming now across several platforms including, Spotify, Audiomack, YouTube and many others.
