Ghana’s Efya gives ‘Life’ to African soul music with new release
At the Jazzhole in Lagos, Efya performed ‘Life’ which is the latest from her long awaited debut album which her producers have promised will be out this year.
There are few, very few singers who can command a room, stroke a song, carry a tune like Efya. In Ghana we have yet to witness a live performance to equal Efya’s passion, her spirit, and her voice. She sings from a place that many artists can’t seem to find; a place of a deeper understanding and connection with music itself.
