‘Returnee’ Franklynette Johnson and the wonders of Sugar Craft Designs

Franklynette Johnson returned to Sierra Leone 6 years ago after eleven years in UK. We recently featured her on an episode of the Vickie Remoe Show that highlighted returnees from the diaspora making it at home as entrepreneurs. She got into the cake business just a year before she relocated to Sierra Leone and 6 years later she has established a baking school, has a successful cake business, and is happily enjoying life at home in Sweet Salone. Franklynette told me about her experience moving back home over a chocolate cake covered in in orange and green iciing….we fought over who was to get the larger piece of cake and bonded over our love for cake and Sierra Leone.
