Back in 2005 K1x Sports Company used Sierra Leone’s national basketball team as inspiration for their new line of athletic sportswear. They created beautiful contrast images of a young group of talented ballers playing for the love and passion of the game. The campaign’s tag line was ‘you cant teach heart’. Last year Freetown finally got its own flagship K1x store on lumbley beach opened by a young Sierra Leonean entrepreneur, it has everything you’d expect from sneakers, t shirts, hoodies, and everything in between. We even recorded an episode of the Vickie Remoe Show at the store when it first opened.
