In recognition of the Day of the Girl Child, team members of VR&C Marketing embarked on a day book photo assignment to highlight some of the activities that young girls go through on a daily basis in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
International Day Of The Girl exists to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls face all over the world. The day aims to shed light on all the reasons we, as a global society, need to address the challenges, biases, dangers, and injustices young girls over the world.
International Day Of The Girl is meant to promote the empowerment of young girls everywhere, while also advocating for the attainment of their basic human rights, like education and bodily autonomy.
